Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform and analyze patient X-rays, applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and collaborating with medical providers and assistants to support efficient patient care.

Responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, reporting results, and providing administrative support to the urgent care centers. ARRT certification and BLS are required at hire, with clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to manage patient care and communication.
• Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment across all ages.
• Provide radiologic procedures and administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic use.
• Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to Medical Providers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication
• Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
• Provide a variety of technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
• Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to Medical Providers
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Mercy‑GoHealth Urgent Care Centers

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• ARRT certification required
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire
