Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Bella Vista, AR is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-ray procedures and support clinical teams. You will apply ionizing radiation under physician guidance and communicate results to providers.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and strong patient-care skills, with a preference for previous clinical experience. On-site position at Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to manage patient care efficiently.
• Perform and analyze x-ray procedures for radiologic diagnosis across age groups.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation of Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
• Report imaging results to Medical Providers in a timely and accurate manner.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
• Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups.
• Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care patients.
• Responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• ARRT certification required
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire.
