Job summary

RadNet in Escondido, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, monitor patients, and assist physicians with imaging needs. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams and address questions.
  • Respond to physician needs regarding imaging and results.
  • Safeguard patient information and medical property.
  • Safeguard medications and comply with policies and legal rules.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients and families in a clinical setting.

You Will:
  • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
  • ARRT(R) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
