Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures and operate fluoroscopic equipment. The role requires strict radiation safety and full patient care coverage, including ER and OR as needed.

ARRT certification within 1 year of graduation or hire is required, CPR certification, and AMA COE radiologic technology program graduate status. Competitive salary and a $15,000 sign-on bonus accompany this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs diagnostic radiologic cases for patients.

• Manages information with strict confidentiality.
• Follows safety and infection prevention policies.
• Communicates to reduce conflicts and follows Radiation Policy and Alabama rules.
• Uses PACS to document patient information and charges correctly.
• Maintains competency with all department exams and reports.
• Communicates accurate patient history and symptoms to Radiologist.

Operates all radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and observes all radiation safety rules concerning patients, co-workers, self and others.
