Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Chattanooga Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures, record patient data in the EHR, and support safe, compassionate patient care in a full-time daytime schedule.

You will maintain imaging equipment, participate in quality control, and collaborate with physicians. A state-licensed ARRT, degree from accredited program, and Tennessee licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited-ray program.
• Two years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology, basic x-ray experience, and trauma work is required.
• Must have a current ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations.
• TENNESSEE ONLY: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Record patient information and maintain EHR.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures.
• Maintain imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with ongoing learning resources.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic / x-ray equipment.
• Assist with general patient care if needed.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values.

Seeking aRadiology Technologist/X-ray Technologist/ Rad Tech for our Chattanooga Orthopedics practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician
• You will properly record patient information and maintain EHR
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures
• Maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources
• You will perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic / x-ray equipment
• You may assist with general patient care if needed
• Honor and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements

What Qualifications you will need:
