Job summary

CHI Carrington Health Radiology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs and support imaging workflows. You will operate fixed and portable X-ray systems, while cross-training for CT when needed, ensuring optimal patient care and accurate results.

You will document in EHR and manage images in PACS, coordinating with Radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnoses and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent in radiology.
• ARRT certification/registration within 12 months of start date.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• MRAD:ND certification where applicable.
• RADTECH credential or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographs and related imaging; ensure image quality.
• Cross-train to CT/ CAT scans when needed.
• Interact with patients to provide a positive experience.
• Position patients and operate fixed and portable X‑ray equipment.
• Utilize EHR and PACS for documentation and image management.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays and cross train to CT/CAT scans if needed, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

What you'll do...

• Utilize innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
• Act professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience.
• Correctly operates fixed x-ray equipment, and portable x-ray machines as well as bone density scans, EKG's and heart monitors.
• Obtain quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers and shielding.
• Utilize electronic health record.
• Utilize PACs system and all the essential functions of the system.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
