Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic radiographic equipment and provide patient services across neonatal to geriatric populations. The role includes performing advanced imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, plus 2 years of experience and ARRT and BCLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Minimum 2 years experience required.
• ARRT registration and BCLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Cares for patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Performs advanced diagnostic imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures.
• Delivers more complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
