Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic radiographs across diverse patient populations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care using various imaging modalities and ensuring safety and accuracy in all procedures.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA approved radiologic technology program or JRCERT accredited training, at least 2 years of experience, and ARRT and BCLS credentials to begin

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience required.
• ARRT registration and BCLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to take clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures per established standards.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Delivers patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Shows ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures).
• Delivers more complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
