This position requires the desire and ability to work with all types of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The successful Radiologic Technologist also possesses the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of Medical Assistants, LPNs, Paramedics, and Radiologic Technologists. The Radiologic Technologist often collaborates with the Registration team, Provider team, and other departments to provide seamless, high-quality care to our patients. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work calmly under stressful conditions within time constraints.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.**Certification & Licensure**Licensed in the State of Virginia or West Virginia depending on the location of primary position. Secondary state license may be required within six months of hire.Valid ARRT registration required at time of employment.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved is required.
