Job summary

Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, part of Dignity Health, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI exams, ensuring high-quality images and a positive patient experience.

The role requires ARRT-approved training, at least one year as a staff technologist, CA licensure on hire, and BLS/CPR. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Completion of radiologic technology training from an ARRT approved school.
• One year or more as a staff technologist performing routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; CT limited procedures and ability to take call.
• CA licensure on hire; ARRT registered; BLS/CPR on hire.
• Proficient in two or more modalities; Rad Tech I/II competencies.
• Ability to work safely with patient transport equipment and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, CT and IR as required.
• Safely transport patients using gurney, wheelchair, Hoyer-Lift.
• Assign patient charges and document techniques/procedures.
• Mark radiographs with side/location, patient ID, and correct markers.
• Quality control of CR images and correct S range.
