Job summary

Aurora Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Tech II to join the Radiology team in Wisconsin on the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu 2200-0800). The role requires Wisconsin licensure, ARRT RT, and BLS with a typical pay range of $30.70–$46.05 per hour plus benefits starting day one.

The technician will perform a wide range of radiologic procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists. A $6,000 sign-on bonus and tuition/student loan assistance are available as part of total rewards

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
• ARRT RT registration is required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months
• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology
• Typically requires 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, GI/pain clinic and c-arm procedures
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain history and address questions
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety
• Identify and label images, ensure exam accuracy and proper billing codes
• Collaborate with radiologists and work independently when needed
• Maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies and enter data in RIS
