Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Radiology Support Clerk to assist the Radiologic Technologist and help keep the diagnostic area ready for procedures.

You will handle clerical tasks, prepare rooms, transport patients, and communicate clearly with staff and families to support patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an orderly and clean work environment.
• Prepares the diagnostic room with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.
• Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.
• Communicates in a clear and concise manner with medical staff, patients and families.
• Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities; transports patients to and from imaging rooms.
• Performs other related duties as required.
