The role combines teaching didactic and clinical radiologic courses, coordinating curriculum, and leading accreditation and assessment efforts, while mentoring students and serving on committees. Requirements include a Master’s degree or higher, ARRT radiography (and mammography preferred),

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in related discipline.
  • Current ARRT certification and registration in Radiography.
  • ARRT Mammography or related certification highly preferred.
  • New York State radiologic technologist license/registration.
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years as instructor in JRCERT-accredited program.
  • Exceptional curriculum design and program administration skills.
  • Active scholarship and participation in professional organizations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Teach didactic and clinical courses within radiologic sciences.
  • Coordinate didactic and clinical courses to support a competency-based curriculum.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide remediation as needed.
  • Participate in accreditation and assessment processes.
  • Engage in curriculum revision, policy updates, and program procedures.
  • Support program operations and director in daily activities.
  • Assist clinical coordinator with site operations and student assessments.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Serve on program, department, college, and university committees.
  • Engage in service, research and scholarship activities.
  • Assist at student and program events; pursue professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Chair and Program Director.

Education

Master’s degree or higher in related discipline
