Job summary

Penn State Schuylkill is hiring a Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Radiological Sciences to serve as Clinical Coordinator for the Radiological Sciences Associate Degree Program. Open Rank, multi-year appointment, 2 years with renewal options, 48 weeks starting Fall 2026 or negotiable.

The role includes teaching multiple courses, overseeing student clinical activities at various sites, coordinating clinical placements, and contributing to assessments and accreditation while maintaining

Qualifications

• Master's degree or doctorate required.
• Be proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, and evaluation.
• Two years of clinical experience in radiologic sciences and ARRT certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses: Patient Care, Medical Terminology, Radiation Biology and Protection, Radiographic Pathology; assist Registry Review course.
• Oversee all clinical activities of students and manage travel to clinical sites.
• Oversee clinical placements and serve as program liaison to clinical sites.
• Participate in program meetings, contribute to assessment/accreditation, and collaborate with instructors for program effectiveness.
• Teach day, evening, and/or Saturday classes as needed; advise students and participate in committees.
