High School Required and Certificate allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital based program. Required or Associate Degree Preferred 2 years of experience Preferred Must be able to work in environment with continuous interruptions (High proficiency) Must be able to assess and respond to rapidly changing situational needs of patients, department and hospital (High proficiency) Must be able to adapt in a high stress and fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions (High proficiency) Must be able to detect sounds and respond to emergency sounds/signals at all times (High proficiency) Must be able to constantly operate computer, equipment and other devices (High proficiency) Position requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with interruptions and attend to tasks for more than sixty (60) minutes at a time. (High proficiency) Passing advanced mammo examination/certification within one year of date of hire: Including 40 hours of training in mammography including anatomy and physiology, QA/QC and 25 mammo exams under direct supervision by an MQSA individual during the orientation process. Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies. Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth. 15 category 1 CEU in mammo in a 36 month period.
