Job Summary Performs routine and some special procedure imaging. Prepares patient for procedures. Assists radiologists when needed. Prepares, operates and cares for the equipment being used. Adheres to established standards of care. Pursues appropriate continuing education. Assumes responsibility for assigned area and duties. Adheres to established customer service programs. Performs other duties as assigned, such as quality assurance. Exercises professional judgments in performance of procedures. Provides patient care.
Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 11am-7pm, Sunday, 8a-6p
High School Required and Certificate accredited radiography school or hospital-based program. Required 1-3 years Preferred The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside all of the MRI zones to access coils, patients and paperwork. (High proficiency) Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (High proficiency) The person in this position frequently communicates with patients who have questions about their bills/financial obligations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
