Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4 years related experience; higher degrees may substitute.
• ARRT certification and NYDOH licensure required.
• Knowledge of lab equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Experience supervising equipment generating ionizing radiation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical preparation of labs and supervise students one-on-one.
• Assist in lab administration and guide students on equipment use and lab objectives.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems during lab sections.
• Oversee open labs with x-ray and audiovisual equipment; assist with theory.
• Order lab supplies and maintain inventory; generate purchase specs.
• Assist students with experiment setup and hands-on training.
