Job summary

Precision Castparts in Portland, OR is seeking a Radiologic Evaluator Training Operator responsible for hands-on training of Radiologic Evaluators and assisting in their qualification and certification. This role also provides feedback to supervision and leadership. You will progress new hires through certification, conduct module audits, evaluate staff against requirements, and help improve performance while maintaining a harassment-free environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or delivering radiologic training programs.
• Ability to evaluate and certify Radiologic Evaluators against defined criteria.
• Proactive feedback to supervision and leadership on training effectiveness.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance considerations in radiologic operations.
• Ability to perform audits and random checks of radiologic staff.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Radiologic Evaluators through the qualification and certification process.
• Progress new or transferring Radiologic Evaluators and coach on new skills.
• Conduct module audits and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
• Evaluate employees against certification standards and document outcomes.
• Provide objective input for performance reviews and coaching.
• Support training program updates and design new demonstration criteria.
• Maintain harassment/discrimination free environment and fairness.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Principal Accountabilities

• Train and assist with certification process:
• Progress new or transfer Radiologic Evaluators through the qualification and certification process. Train employees on new skills and work with employees to improve performance to satisfactory levels or maintain satisfactory performance.
• Perform module audits as they are due.
• Evaluate employee against certification requirements.
• Gives objective, fact-based input for performance reviews. Participate in performance measure feedback and performance review of Radiologic Evaluators.
• In performing training/certification duties, avoids favoritism or the perception of favoritism.
• Training Program Support:
• Offer suggestions to create and revise training modules.
• Design and update skills demonstration and criteria for qualification and certification.
• Radiologic Evaluator support and necessary audits.
• Perform ongoing evaluation of employees and random audits.
• Stay current on X-Ray shoot and read
• Other:
• Is sensitive to and proactively supports the maintenance of a harassment/discrimination free environment.
