CPP Corporation is seeking a Radiography Trainee (X-Ray Reader Trainee) to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Albany. You will learn to perform non-destructive testing, interpret radiographs, document results, and calibrate equipment under established technique cards. Training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required, but candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Solid job history including more than 1 year at a previous or recent employer.
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing using radiographic images to determine casting quality.
• Interpret radiographic images and document results per technique cards.
• Calibrate equipment and develop shooting techniques as required.
• Endorse radiographic reports and ensure complete and accurate inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering or other departments to address defects.
