Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist at our Ann Arbor locations. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, assist radiologists with contrast procedures, and ensure high-quality images per department protocols.

The role requires ARRT registration, accredited radiography training, and BLS certification, with a preference for 1 year of experience. Expect a day shift with a 36-hour week and weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist / Radiography program.
• Registered as a Radiographer by the ARRT.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physics, and positional variants (supine, prone).
• Knowledge of exposure methods to obtain clearly defined films with ALARA.

Responsibilities

• Review procedure requests to determine region and images.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning, immobilization, and reassurance.
• Assist Radiologist by operating imaging equipment for routine radiographs.
• Monitor patient condition before and during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Document verification and imaging needs in the system and perform re-imaging when needed.
• Collect and forward completed PACS images for interpretation.
• Practice sterile techniques and infection control.
• Monitor daily quality control and report equipment problems.
