Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a radiology technician to perform a variety of radiographic procedures, prioritizing patient safety and high image quality. The role supports complex procedures and ensures accurate documentation in PACS/EPIC, while coordinating with radiologists and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Certified by an accredited radiology program and ARRT registered.
• CPR certification is required.

• Operate PACS and other systems accurately, charge procedures, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.

Job description

Role: Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and more, demonstrating competency in troubleshooting equipment and obtaining nursing assessments.
• Ensure quality check of images, proper documentation in PACS/EPIC, and timely communication with radiologists.
• Promote patient care and safety, manage patient flow, and address delays or emergencies effectively.
• Operate PACS and other systems accurately, charge procedures, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Strive for high patient satisfaction by adhering to organizational behavior standards and communication protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certified by an accredited radiology program, ARRT registered, SCRQSA certification (for South Carolina), and CPR certified. Must possess customer service, teamwork, computer proficiency, and knowledge of office equipment, PACS, and EMR systems. No prior experience required, with some certifications in place.

Additional Details:

This non-management role reports to a supervisor. Night shift, located at a hospital facility, supporting the radiology department. Demonstrates organizational values and commitment to community healthcare transformation.
