Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation.
This position is bonus eligible.
Essential Functions
- All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values.
- Assists in performing a wide range of procedures including ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, all OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enterocolitis interventions, sialograms, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy‑tube placements or injections, T‑tube cholangiograms, major trauma/trauma bay, neonatal ICU, pacing lab, and critical care procedures.
- Demonstrates competency in arthrograms, myelograms, venograms, minor trauma, and troubleshooting complex studies. Provides troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment, obtains nursing assessment when nursing is unavailable, and documents infiltrates and reactions.
- Efficiently manages patient workflow, ensuring smooth operation and proper use of equipment and materials. Maintains good relationships with employees, physicians, and supervisors and resolves personnel issues with related areas.
- Prepares images for review by the radiologist, including markers and necessary parameters, and verifies studies before archiving.
- Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives and completes required documentation on the C2E platform.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
- This is a non‑management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited radiology program.
- Experience: No experience required.

- SCRQSA certification (required for team members working in South Carolina)
