Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Radiographer to perform fluoroscopic imaging in an outpatient surgery setting. You will ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, and operate fluoroscopic equipment to aid accurate diagnosis.

The role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist, plus related experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current valid Radiologic Technologist certificate issued by state.
• Two years radiologic experience; graduate nurse substitution may apply.
• Two-year AMA/ACM approved radiologic tech program completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic procedures following radiology practice standards.
• Handle imaging patient care and related clerical duties in outpatient surgery.
• Position patients, operate radiologic equipment and protect from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain equipment and keep accurate records and reports.
