Job summary

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Second-year radiography student status required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple areas within the Imaging Department.
• Perform routine radiographic procedures under direct supervision after competencies are passed.
• Greet and escort patients; verify information and explain procedures clearly.
• Position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images under supervision.
• Prepare immobilization and support devices; apply radiation protection.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely according to orders.
• Consult with radiologists to clarify orders or address complex cases.
• Report malfunctions or repair needs of equipment promptly.
• Assist with emergencies, including first aid and contrast media reactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment.
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately.
• Monitor supplies in assigned areas.
