Job summary

Vermont State Colleges System (VSCS) invites applications for the Program Director of Radiography, a Grade 16 exempt position, to provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the Radiography Program at Vermont State University.

You will oversee curriculum, accreditation, faculty supervision, student success, and partnerships with clinical affiliates, ensuring compliance with JRCERT and ARRT requirements and alignment with institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Health Sciences, Education, or closely related field.
• Current Vermont Radiography license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Vermont.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical radiography experience.
• Minimum 2 years of instructional experience in a JRCERT-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all functions of the Radiography Program.
• Ensure compliance with JRCERT, ARRT, policies, and regulations.
• Lead program assessment, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and revise curriculum to meet professional standards and workforce needs.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate faculty in line with policies and agreements.
• Collaborate with the Academic Dean on appointments, tenure, and development.
• Coordinate orientation and development for new faculty members.
• Advise and support students to promote retention and graduation.
• Oversee admissions activities and ensure program operations align with policies.
• Establish relationships with hospitals and clinical affiliates.
• Prepare accreditation reports and strategic plans.
• Develop and monitor the program budget and resources.
