Job summary

Crane Co. is seeking a Radiographic Testing Technician Lvl II in Jurupa Valley, CA. This role involves performing radiographic inspections using X-ray equipment, processing parts and maintaining accurate logs. The ideal candidate will support team training and maintain high standards of documentation while working in a collaborative environment. Compensation includes an hourly range of $28 to $32 with additional benefits.

Qualifications

## Radiographic Testing Technician Lvl IIApplyremote type: Onsitelocations: Jurupa Valley, Californiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 8 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101672## **Key Responsibilities*** Perform radiographic inspections using X‐ray generating equipment in field conditions.* Review routers, procedures, specifications, and work instructions for accuracy and completeness.* Process and evaluate parts per approved procedures to identify discontinuities beyond acceptance criteria.* Set up, operate, and perform process control checks on NDT equipment; document results.* Interpret, evaluate, and report inspection results in accordance with applicable standards.* Complete all required logs, data sheets, and documentation accurately and on time.* Maintain audit‐ready work areas, equipment, and records.* Stay current on procedures, specifications, and technical requirements.* Provide guidance to Trainees and Level I personnel; support Level III in developing test techniques.* Perform additional duties as assigned.## **Required Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED.* Current/valid **IRRSP X‐ray certification** or California‐approved equivalent.* Minimum **2,000 hours** operating X‐ray equipment and performing radiographic inspections, radiation surveys, and radiation‐safety activities.* Prior certification to **RT Level II (DDA)** in accordance with **SNT‐TC‐1A** (documentation required).* Ability to pass near‐vision and color‐perception tests (Visual Testing).* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings; document nonconformances accurately.* Experience inspecting welds using NDT methods.* Ability to pass General, Specific, and Practical exams within company‐defined timeframes.* Ability to lift 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs with assistance.## **Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with **ASME Section V**.* Proficiency with measuring tools (comparators, micrometers, scales, calipers).* Experience providing On‐the‐Job Training (OJT).* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.* Positive attitude with a desire to grow and advance.* Willingness to cross‐train in additional NDT methods.* Ability to work extended or flexible schedules with short notice.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.*This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
