Qualifications

• Must have 20/25 near vision (correctable) and color vision.
• Must have sufficient strength and manual dexterity to perform the physical demands of the job.
• Must achieve Level 1 RT certification in radiographic inspection within ninety days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Shall process castings through radiographic inspection, processing and reading, as prescribed in the Non Destructive Test folders.
• Shall accept or reject casting(s), or lots, based on results of the inspection techniques used.
• Shall faithfully apply all applicable specifications, and report any apparent deviations to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Shall maintain all necessary inspection records and files, in addition to a variety of logs where accuracy is paramount.
• Shall receive daily work assignments from the department supervisor or lead person.
• Shall attend and successfully complete hazardous material / waste handling classes.
• Shall maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition, and keep noise level to a minimum.
• Must achieve and maintain Level 1 RT certification in radiographic inspection within ninety days of start date.
• Shall perform other duties as assigned.
