Job summary

ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers in Baltimore, MD is seeking a licensed Radiographer to join our urgent care team. The role requires ARRT certification, Maryland Radiographer license, CPR, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, patient education, radiation safety, and basic patient care. We offer full benefits, sign-on bonus of $2,500 for full-time roles, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent (Required).
• Completion of an approved RT program (Required).
• Current ARRT certification (Required).
• Maryland State Radiographer License (Required).
• CPR Certification (Required).
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician’s office or hospital (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams following established protocols and positioning techniques.
• Provide patients with explanations of procedures and appropriate positioning prior to x-ray.
• Practice radiation protection measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and employees.
• Assist with triaging, discharge, and other basic patient care as radiology workflow allows.
• Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and height/weight.
• Perform simple laboratory tests such as EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasal swabs.
