Job summary

The Iowa Clinic is seeking a PRN CT Tech to join our Central Iowa radiology team. You will perform CT procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include ARRT certification with Iowa state permit, completion of an AMA‑accredited Radiologic Technology program, and two years of clinical imaging experience. This role emphasizes accurate results, patient care, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and current State of Iowa permit to practice.
• Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Two years of applicable clinical experience in medical imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.
• Applies prescribed ionizing radiation following established protocols.

A day in the life…

Wondering what a day in the life of a PRN CT Techat The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
• Performs Computed Tomography under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for Computed Tomography.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.

Required Licenses

• ARRT certification and Current State of Iowa permit to practice required.

Other Requirements

• Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Two years applicable clinical experience in medical imaging and systems environment required.
