Shift: Day Shift
Location: Chelsea, MI
Status: Part Time, 24 hours per week

Position Overview

The Radiology Technologist reviews physician orders, positions patients, and captures diagnostic images in accordance with department protocols. They work closely with radiology leadership and radiologists to produce high-quality images, assist in contrast media administration, and perform technical procedures independently with integrity and initiative.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT registration
  • Maintain CEU credits and ARRT certification requirements
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preferably, one year of radiologic technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physics, and radiographic principles
Responsibilities
  • Schedule and prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Assist radiologists during procedures, adjusting equipment and positioning patients
  • Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and proper documentation
  • Assist with contrast media administration and re-imaging as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
