Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic imaging at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC. The role requires ARRT certification and involves professional patient care and availability for call as needed. Day shift, full-time opportunity in a hospital setting.

Experience in radiography is preferred. The incumbent will work under a licensed practitioner to ensure high-quality images for interpretation and intervention, while upholding medical ethics and patient

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• If hired prior to 1996, completed an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology and meets minimum performance standards.
• If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic imaging to assist interpretation and/or intervention as requested by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintains professional ethics and a demeanor appropriate to medical ethics.
• Available for call as requested.

Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, or, if hired prior to 1996, have completed an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology and has enough years of experience to meet the minimum performance standards developed by the department. If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within specified guidelines of ARRT.

Experience:

1 year of Radiography experience preferred.
