Job summary

Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a Radiographer for a full-time position in the Pediatric Imaging department. You will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations, ensure patient positioning and safety, and work closely with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging for pediatric patients.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Texas CMRT license, ARRT registration or eligibility, and CPR

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas CMRT license required; ARRT registration or registry-eligible with ARRT within 1 year.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with high-quality images and proper patient positioning.
• Review orders, verify patient ID, and select imaging techniques based on patient needs.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety and diagnostic accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
• Document imaging procedures and participate in equipment quality assurance and safety checks.
