Job summary

NLB Services is seeking a Radio System Engineer for domestic assignments in the United States. The role focuses on radio communications, RF design, troubleshooting, and system integration across HF, VHF, UHF, and trunk networks.

The engineer will support airline communication systems, ensure compliance with FCC/FAA regulations, manage vendor relations, and provide on-call, 24/7 support as needed. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in radio communications (HF, VHF, UHF, trunk systems).
• Experience with RF interference troubleshooting and RF design.
• Knowledge of airline air-to-ground and ground-to-ground comms preferred.
• FCC general radio license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business requirements from units.
• Analyze, design, document platforms to meet enterprise needs.
• Install, configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot OS and software.
• Configure and install hardware systems; maintain and troubleshoot.
