Job summary

Fortive Corporation, through its Fluke product compliance team, seeks a Safety/Radio Test Engineer to drive RF and safety certifications for new and existing products. You will develop and execute test plans, document outcomes, and work with external labs to secure FCC/IC/EU compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in product safety or RF/EMC evaluation, plus a degree in electrical engineering. Expect collaboration across teams with occasional travel and a focus on rigorous reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher recommended.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product safety, RF compliance or EMC evaluation.
• Experience with third party certification laboratories such as UL, CSA, TUV, Intertek etc.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate new product designs and testing against evolving standards.
• Define test plans and document results in ISO 17025 format.
• Work with external labs to obtain accredited radio/EMC certifications.
• Assess feasibility of radio modules and ROI for global market access.
• Prepare and defend test reports submitted to certification bodies.
