Townsquare Media is seeking a Radio Host / Multimedia Content Creator in Dubuque to lead the local sound and digital presence. This full-time, in‑office role combines radio hosting, written content, video creation, and community engagement.

You will produce daily shows, write articles, publish social posts, and cultivate partnerships that translate to revenue. The role demands an energetic, entrepreneurial talent with strong communication and audience-building skills.

Qualifications

• Proven, active track record creating original written digital content and video content across social platforms.
• Strong on-air presence and on-camera comfort for multi-platform audiences.
• Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
• Ability to write, edit, and publish engaging local content daily.
• Willingness to learn NexGen and Adobe Audition for production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Host live, engaging on-air shows Monday through Friday.
• Prepare daily show content that entertains, informs, and connects with the audience.
• Publish a minimum of two original local articles per day for the station site and app.
• Write and schedule posts across social platforms (Facebook, etc.).
• Engage listeners through interviews, live appearances, remotes, and community events.
• Represent the station at promotions, broadcasts, and programming initiatives.
• Produce commercials and support market-wide content needs.
• Build authentic community relationships to champion the station brand.
• Collaborate with on-air, digital, production, and sales teams on integrated content initiatives.
• Create regular original video content for social platforms and the brand.
