Townsquare Media in Odessa/Midland, TX seeks a Radio Host / Multimedia Content Creator to shape daily sound and digital presence for four stations. You will engage audiences on-air, online, and in the community, producing content across video, text, and social platforms.

Ideal candidates have a proven mix of on-air charisma and digital storytelling, with comfort on camera and a drive to build local partnerships. This is a full-time, in-office role in West Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; proven ability to host and create content.
• Experience creating original written and video content across platforms.
• Strong on-air presence with comfort on camera and in public settings.
• Familiarity with FCC basics and current events is a plus.
• Willingness to learn NexGen and Adobe Audition quickly.

Responsibilities

• Host live on-air shows Monday through Friday across multiple stations.
• Prepare daily show content that informs, entertains, and connects with audiences.
• Create and publish at least two original local articles daily for the site/app.
• Write and schedule social posts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.
• Engage listeners via interviews, remotes, and community events.
• Represent the station at promotions, live broadcasts, and initiatives.
• Produce commercials, video segments, and short-form content.
• Develop authentic local partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Create original video regularly for social platforms and longer formats.
• Pitch personal brand partnerships to local advertisers.
