Job summary

Tagore Tech in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level RF lab technician to assemble, test, and characterize high‑power RF circuits. This hands‑on role focuses on building from schematics, performing precision soldering, and running RF measurements.

You will work with VNAs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers, document results, and maintain a clean, calibrated lab environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Experience with RF lab work and soldering.
  • Ability to read schematics and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble RF circuits and modules from schematics and build documentation.
  • Perform precision soldering (SMT and through-hole) on RF PCBs and subassemblies.
  • Set up and execute RF measurements and circuit characterization.
  • Operate laboratory equipment including VNAs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Support calibration, test setup, and troubleshooting of RF circuits.
  • Maintain lab benches and ensure equipment readiness.
  • Document test procedures and results with attention to detail and repeatability.

This is a hands‑on laboratory role focused on the assembly, test, and characterization of high‑power RF circuits.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble RF circuits and modules from schematics and build documentation
  • Perform precision soldering (SMT and through‑hole) on RF PCBs and subassemblies
  • Set up and execute RF measurements and circuit characterization
  • Operate laboratory equipment including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Support calibration, test setup, and troubleshooting of RF circuits
  • Maintain lab benches and ensure equipment readiness
  • Document test procedures and results with attention to detail and repeatability
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate's degree (2-year) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, RF Technology, or a related technical field
  • Exposure to RF or electronics laboratory work through coursework, internships, or practical experience
  • Demonstrated soldering skills and experience working with electronic assemblies
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as VNAs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Ability to interpret schematics and follow technical procedures
  • Understanding of laboratory best practices, including ESD awareness and safe handling of electronic assemblies
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to technical work
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to RF concepts such as S-parameters, impedance matching, and calibration techniques
  • Experience with RF test setups, coaxial interconnects, or high‑frequency circuitry
  • Experience collecting, documenting, and analyzing test data
  • Prior internship or hands‑on laboratory experience
