Laurel, Maryland (Commutable from: Columbia, Silver Spring, Baltimore, Washington DC, Bowie, Greenbelt, Ellicott City, Annapolis)

Are you an RF Electronics Engineer, RF Systems Engineer or RF Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge, mission-critical national security technology, with the chance to lead complex RF projects and take real technical ownership?

On offer is the chance to join a well-established specialist engineering business where you will lead the design and delivery of advanced RF circuits, subsystems and systems, provide technical leadership across projects, and mentor engineers throughout the team.

This organization is known for solving complex engineering problems for Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers and is continuing to grow following recent acquisitions. As a result of continued expansion, they are now looking to add to their specialist engineering team.

In this role, you will design, develop and implement advanced RF solutions from concept through delivery, ensuring performance, reliability and compliance. You will stay hands-on in design and integration work, using tools such as CST Studio, ADS and HFSS, while leading technically across projects and guiding junior and mid-level engineers.

This role would suit an RF engineer with strong RF design and electronics development experience, looking to step into a technical leadership role with higher project ownership and the chance to work with the latest technology in a highly secure environment.

The Role:

• Leading the design, development and implementation of advanced RF circuits, subsystems and systems.
• End-to-end engineering involvement from concept through delivery and integration.
• Using CST Studio, ADS and HFSS to support RF design and analysis.
• Providing technical leadership across projects and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers (no direct reports).
• On-site role with a 9/80 working schedule (every other Friday off).

The Person:

• Strong background in RF design / RF electronics design (circuits, subsystems and systems)
• Experience using CST Studio, ADS and/or HFSS (or closely related RF EM / simulation tools)
