Overview

The RF Engineer III works under the guidance of experienced engineers to analyze requirements and design solutions for RF applications.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs basic design functions of printed circuit board assemblies
  • Reviews customer specifications and assesses feasibility of meeting performance requirements
  • Performs test and troubleshooting on printed circuit card assemblies and amplifier products
  • Creates and maintains project milestone schedules
  • Identifies and evaluates continuous improvement opportunities to improve manufacturability, product performance, reduce cost, etc.
  • Generates Plans and Procedures for product Qualification, Design Verification, and Acceptance Testing.
  • Participates in development of technical strategies and teaming strategies on multiple projects.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's degree)
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
    • (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
    • (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, including electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, antenna design, and signal processing
  • Knowledge of components, schematic capture, and layout of electrical designs of RF and Analog circuitry
  • Strong experience in high power transceiver design with TX output power range from 20W to 200W in frequencies range from 20MHz to 20GHz
  • Familiarity with system-level simulation tools to evaluate RF performance
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $93,569 - $116,961 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
