Position: Radio Frequency Engineer

Client: NOAA

Location: Remote (Only for Green Card holders and Citizens)

Job Description:

  • Mandatory Skill: MATLAB
  • Perform radio frequency interference (RFI) analyses between US Government satellite systems and foreign satellite systems operating in the same frequency bands.
  • Oversee ITU and FCC regulatory and spectrum management related to satellite communication.
  • Be familiar with ITU Filing and RF Certification processes.
  • Develop RF spectrum sharing models to coordinate wireless commercial and international satellite networks.
  • Process coordination requests through the NTIA Space Systems Subcommittee.
  • Analyze proposed space telecommunication systems for operational risks based on ITU Radio Regulations.
  • Coordinate RF coexistence analysis between satellite networks via NASA/DoD/DoC and ESA processes, develop RFI mitigation strategies, and communicate results.
  • Utilize verbal and written communication skills to provide clear recommendations and conclusions.
