Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking a Mid Level RF Engineer SME to assemble RF components and test fixtures, assist in RF circuit testing, and support design efforts. A US citizen with TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

The candidate will perform measurements with network/spectrum analyzers and power meters, maintain lab records, and help ensure calibration data is up to date. Remote work is not authorized at this time.

Qualifications

  • Three years RF Assembler experience required.
  • Associate degree in CS/IT/Systems Admin/Networking/Electronics from an accredited college.
  • Three years additional RF Assembler experience may substitute for an Associate degree.

Responsibilities

  • Perform RF assembly of components, subassemblies, and test fixtures using coax and waveguide connections, and precision mechanical integration.
  • Assist in testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
  • Conduct measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Support senior engineers in the design and prototyping of RF systems.
  • Prepare documentation, including test results, assembly procedures, and calibration data.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of RF performance issues.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment calibration records.

Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level SME

As a SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to:

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Three (3) years of experience as an Rf Assembler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration/Networking, Electronics, or related discipline from an accredited college
  • Three (3) years of additional Rf Assembler experience may be substituted for a Associate’s degree
Required Qualifications:
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final US TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance pre-start is required
  • Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications
  • Experience conducting measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
  • Experience with the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas
Desired Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance

Summary Pay Range:
