Job summary

Day Wireless Systems seeks a Radio DAS Technician to troubleshoot and design BDA/DAS systems for wireless solutions. You will program, diagnose, and support complex radio networks while reading blueprints and using service monitors, watt meters, and hand tools.

The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of base systems, repeaters, antenna and microwave links, plus battery backup and solar power systems. Strong electronics background required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics and wireless repair required.
• Minimum 3 years in electronic communications repair or equivalent.
• Knowledge of battery backup, base stations, repeaters, duplexers and basic networking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and radio programming software.

Responsibilities

• Programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for radio systems.
• Use test equipment to diagnose BDA/DAS systems.
• Read blueprints and drawings for installations.
• Repair and document Low Band, VHF/UHF, and 800/900 MHz systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair base systems, repeaters, antenna, microwave, and battery backup systems.
• Install and maintain dispatch console equipment.
• Diagnose and repair PA and BDA/DAS systems and related components.
