MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Three (3) years of full-time professional level engineering experience in the field of electronic communications which must have included working with large, multi-site radio and/or microwave networks; AND
2. Possession of a bachelor's degree from a U.S. accredited college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a closely related engineering field; OR2. An equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience listed above, totaling seven (7) years
Note: Professional level experience performing engineering and analytical work on land mobile radios, trunked radio systems, microwave transport networks, and internet protocol (IP) based communications systems is highly desirable. A thorough knowledge of computer programs used to perform engineering design and drawing, such as AutoCAD, is highly desirable.
