Job summary

UC Davis Health's Radiation Oncology department seeks a Radiation Therapist to work under supervision with radiation oncologists, physicists and fellow therapists to deliver precise treatments, including IMRT, SBRT, radiosurgery, and brachytherapy when appropriate, following detailed treatment plans.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care across all ages, requiring strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic, on-site environment at the Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Requires CRT certification and ARRT RT(T) credential.
• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program is required or welcomed for new graduates.
• BLS/CPR certification expected.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current radiation therapy practices and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation treatments including photon/electron beams and advanced techniques (3D, IMRT, SBRT).
• Assist in simulation, treatment planning, and QA activities.
• Provide patient care and education; document and report observations.
