• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Certification and Licensing: Valid State of Florida Registered Radiation Therapy license required ARRT; BLS

Responsibilities

• Administers doses of radiation to specific body parts using therapy equipment per physician prescription.
• Positions patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription.
• Reviews prescription, diagnosis, patient chart, and identification.
• Maintains records including radiation dosages, equipment settings, and patient reactions.
• Observes patient progress and reports signs of complications.
• Operates radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Performs daily machine safety checks and reports abnormalities.
• Works with radiation oncologist and team to customize treatment plans.
