Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and perform general diagnostic radiology procedures following department protocols. You will evaluate radiographs for quality, apply radiation safety, provide patient care, and respond to conditions requiring immediate action; a California Radiologic Technologist Certificate and BLS are required.

This is an onsite per diem role with day shifts and a standard schedule, located at Ontario Vineyard MOB - Radiation

Qualifications

• One year of experience in radiation oncology.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist (California).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment using imaging modalities.
• Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with department protocols (fluoroscopy, orthopedics, tomography, C-arms, surgery, portables).
• Evaluate radiographs for technical quality.
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
• Apply principles of radiation protection and provide patient care.
• Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures.
