Job summary

McLaren Flint is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem positions across inpatient units including Cardiac/Cath Lab and ED. You will assess patients, document status, and develop care plans while ensuring adherence to nursing standards.

The role requires an active Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS training (within 6 months). Prior critical care, telemetry, and vascular access experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license to practice nursing in Michigan.
• BLS certified; ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Two years of experience in a Cardiac/CCU, ICU, ED, PACU, or Cath Lab or equivalent.
• Experience with arterial line management and venous sheaths is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develop written plans of care with long and short-term goals and nursing actions.
• Lead and coordinate nursing care plans to ensure standards of practice are followed.
