Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a Manager, Radiation Therapy to oversee daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and cost-effective service delivery. You will collaborate with the Radiation Oncology leadership team to implement strategic plans and standardize practices across the enterprise.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge, with responsibilities spanning policy development, billing accuracy, and staff development in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• ARRT-RTT, CA- RTT licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily technical operations of the Radiation Therapy department to support cost-effective, high-quality care.
• Collaborates with Radiation Oncology leadership to meet targets and standardize practices across the enterprise.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and departmental standards.
• Ensures correct charge capture and proper billing/documentation for simulation and treatment.
• Monitors department budget and financial performance, including expenses and resources.
• Maintains knowledge of radiation oncology treatment modalities and billing practices.
• Monitors workflow and uses PDCA-based process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Oversees equipment maintenance, space planning, and contract management.
• Participates in recruitment, staff development, and educational activities.
• Engages in departmental committees and uses patient feedback for service improvements.
