Job summary

Palomar Health in Escondido, CA, seeks an experienced Radiation Therapist Supervisor to lead the Radiation Oncology department's daily treatment activities and CT simulations, under supervision of manager and clinical staff. You will oversee staff schedules, ensure accurate delivery, and collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and physicists to optimize patient care.

Expertise with Varian TrueBeam/Edge, respiratory gating, DIBH, SBRT planning, 4D CT, and Aria billing is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRT(R) certification within 1 year of hire; ARRT(R) licensed.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• 1-3 years radiation therapy experience; lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily treatment activities and CT simulations; schedule staff.
• Coach and monitor therapists; ensure regulatory readiness.
• Lead adoption of new tech (TrueBeam, gating, DIBH) and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists; ensure accurate billing.
