Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Radiation Therapy Technician to support advanced radiation therapy equipment and imaging systems. You will install, calibrate, repair and QA linear accelerators and related devices, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and collaboration with HTM leadership and support staff. On-call, overtime, and occasional travel to other Mayo Clinic sites are included.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year direct experience maintaining linear accelerators and radiotherapy equipment.
• Associate's degree with 3 years direct experience maintaining linear accelerators and radiotherapy equipment.
• U.S. Military training in biomedical electronics, mechatronics, or engineering with 3 years direct experience maintaining linear accelerators and radiotherapy equipment.
• Alternatively, 5 years of combined imaging, radiotherapy or particle accelerator equipment maintenance may be considered in lieu of minimum direct accelerator maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain complex medical equipment through installation, maintenance, calibration, repair and QA of linear accelerators and related imaging systems.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer focus with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prioritize service calls, adhere to Mayo policy, and follow radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans.
• Communicate service calls through HTM Leadership, HTM Support Specialists, or a CMMS dashboard; on-call, overtime, and travel may be required.
• Develop mastery of increasingly complex equipment and support Mayo Clinic mission.
